JACKSON CREEEK MIDDLE SCHOOOL

Selected Poems

When I see a Rainbow

When I see a rainbow it feels so great

It's like something I create

When I looked up, what did I see

A big rainbow smiling down on me

I feel like this is going to be a perfect day

but I know this vision will have to stay

Why you ask

It's because of my grades, two B's, three F's, one D, and an A

My parents are going to kill me

I know that for a fact

But forget that because I need to relax

Motorcross

when i come off of a jump

or flying through the woods

im in the air

or my front wheel is at least

it feels really good

when the people stare

because i know they think

i dont care

my goggles are chrome

so they think i cant see

but really i can see perfecly

when i come off the burm

the champion oil/gas burns

and when i pass the first place rider

my heart starts to beet excessivly

and then my reaction time is faster

when i get roosted

i use one of my tearoffs

and then pass a laped rider

and roost him back

Flying my airplane

When i start my airplane

i smell the nitro burn

it smells so good

i want to smell it more

i get it on the runway

and nail the throttle

it goes in the air

and around in a curve

i pull up on the stick

and it does a loop

i pull out of that

and pull a corkscrew

and go through the air

i go upin to a stall

i go straight up

and do a fly by

its about time to land

i only have 1/8 of a tank of gas

because i have been runing

for ten minutes flat

i come in to land

and set down softly

taxied back

shut it off for another flight

Driving with me

when i go driving

i go in my field

go about twenty

and turn the wheel

i start to slide

and let off of the gas

i turned too hard

in the grass

i started to spin

and hit the grass

i started to go

to try it again

but just a little faster

slid it around

this time it was perfect

but not for the ground

i went back to my house

to park the truck
