HOURS
Students may use the library between 7:45 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. unless otherwise posted on the library doors.
If these times need to be extended for research, see the Librarian for other arrangements.

LOAN PERIODS
Books and magazines circulate for a period of 14 days.
Reference materials circulate overnight.
Return overnight materials before the end of homeroom the following morning.

OVERDUE POLICY/FINE
Students will be notified of any overdue material by their Language Arts teacher.
There is a five-day grace period for items checked out.
After the grace period there will be a .05 fine a day per overdue item.

PLAGARISM
Plagiarism is defined as using someone else's words or ideas without giving proper credit or without giving any credit at all to the writer of the original. Whether plagiarism is intentional or unintentional, it is a serious offense. To avoid plagiarism, students should give credit whenever they use:

• Another person's idea, opinion, or theory
• Any facts, statistics, graphs, drawings (any information that is not common knowledge)
• Quotations of another person's actual spoken or written words
• Paraphrase of another person's spoken or written words.
