The Mask I Wear

The mask I wear,
Is very hard to see
It's edges,
Like smoothes glass,
Reflect my face
And sparkle,
An impression people like to
See
But behind my mask
I am not what they
Expect
Perhaps they cannot handle
My imperfections
Or cannot easily understand,
My insanity
But even I do not understand
The moods that are mine
The depression that swings to
Infatuation,
And back again
And I can learn
To accept myself as me,
Or do I only like,
The mask I wear .
