My Dark Side

Sometimes when
it's raining and the sky is really black,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When I walk in to
a room and no face is familiar,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When my dad seems
unconcerned,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When I hear my
brother yelling,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When my mom is
mad and angry,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When I wake up in
the dark silent night,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When my plans go
disarray,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When my friends
ignore or laugh at me,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When I talk and
no one listens,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When I feel I'm
way behind,
It reminds me of my dark side.
When I know I've
tried my hardest and Still I don't succeed,
It reminds me of my dark side.
