What is a Bibliography?

A bibliography is a list of the sources consulted, but not necessarily used in the paper. The sources should be in alphabetical order by the first word of each entry. A bibliography usually appears at the end of the work. This bibliographic format follows the MLA style format. If certain information for the bibliography can not be found, do NOT make up the information, leave it blank. Information for this format was obtained from the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, 5th edition.

Because this page is teaching proper bibliographic format, the underlined words are not links and should be included in the proper bibliographic format.
