Information
The Tutoring Enrichment for Adults and Children (TEACH) program is designed to help students in the local area with their homework and enrich their learning. This tutoring program is a partnership with the Monroe County Community School Cooperation and the community member tutors. With proper tutor training and communication with the ESL teachers, the students being tutored will be receiving extra help with their school work to increase their success in school. During the tutoring times, there are other opportunities for families to take advantage of. Childcare is provided, and ESL and GED classes occurring at the same time. Parents and/or guardians must stay present at Broadview Learning Center while their child is participating in the tutoring or childcare.

Times and Location

TEACH will take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Broadview Learning Center from 6:00-8:00pm.
Directions to Broadview Learning Center are below:

Do students have to come both Monday and Wednesday?
No, the student can choose one or do both. This can be figured out with the tutoring coordinator.

Who will be tutoring?
Students volunteers and service learners from Indiana University will be providing the tutoring service. All tutors will attend a mandatory session to learn about the process and procedures in becoming a tutor.
