  1. Open a new Word document. 
  2. Insert a right aligned header with your name, class period and date.
  3. Copy the bold text exactly as it appears using the given instructions.  (Instructions do NOT need to be re-typed!)
  4. When you are finished, save it as “TNMS” in your Technology folder in your locker.

 


o       Type the following in 16pt Copperplate gothic bold font with the correct justification (alignment).  Press ENTER 2 times after each name.

o       Press ENTER 3 times after typing Mr. Childers.

o       As you type the following paragraph, set the line spacing at 1.5 (slides 11-12), set a hanging indent (slide 37) and change the font size to 12pt in Rockwell.

 

Tri-North Middle School provides a positive environment which promotes the further development of learning fundamental knowledge, skills, multi-cultural understanding, creativity and character so students may be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities as citizens.

 

o       Press ENTER 3 times and return the document to single spacing.  Change the font to Veranda in 14 pt.  Using automatic numbering (slide38), type the list below.  Then, using a bullet of your choice, type the same list again.

o       Press ENTER three times.  Now practice setting left justification TABS at 3 and 4.5 inches (slide 34).  Type the following lists using Kidsprint font in 12pt.

o       Press ENTER three times.  Now use the right justification TAB at 5 inches to type the following text in Papyrus in 12 pt.

o       Press ENTER three times.  Type the following sentences by setting the font size to 18pt and changing the font to Comic Sans MS in bold. 

o       Insert a picture of a Trojan from Clip Art.  Double click on the picture, change the layout to square and place it to the right of the text (see below.)

o       Using WordArt, create a title that says “Tri-North School Song”
