Grammy and I love the waves!
You might have read about the fires and the smoke this summer,
but Grammy always had seltzer water for us
...and at night, we played "golf, miniature" with Aunt Cheryl.
It did get much worse over the 4th of July.
They postponed the race until October 17th.
Monday, we went to the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine.
Our family was watching the alligator families...

I think he's dreaming of some birds for dinner.
These herons fly free in the wild part of the "Farm."
Grammy and I thought this Galapagos turtle was the biggest. Then his daddy crawled out for food!
The last week in July, we went to the qualifications for the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was very noisy. We went to sit in the stands while it rained. That's Grammy, Mom, and my friend, Drew.

I signed this card for Grammy and Pa,
because I haven't seen them since the Brickyard. Mommy wrote next to me.
This is the biggest dog I've ever seen!
His name is 'Spot.'
He works at WFHB in Bloomington.
