Old Business
Kathy McTigue discussed the fund raising opportunity that the North teams have with I.U. home games by assisting with parking, ushering and taking tickets. The teams need to commit to at least 7 games and certain dress and age requirements must be meant. Due to the constraints of the time of the shifts and weather conditions there was concern as to whether this was a commitment that could be honored completely. Kathy said that a date of November 14th would be set for teams to commit by or we (the Booster Club) would not do it.
Pete Lenzen has completed the first edition of the Booster Club Newsletter with pictures and rosters contributed by the coaches and A.D’s. Pete has requested that parents and team reps. Communicate to him anything that they would like to have mentioned in the Newsletter, such as special honors or stories of interest. The deadline for information to be submitted for the winter sports newsletter is December 1.
Denise Hoke reported that the LISTSERVE for all of MCCSC crashed last week and announcements have not been sent out via e-mail. She also reported that Under Armour Cougar apparel will soon be available in the Book Store and at certain home games.
New Business
The switch over has been made from Ralph Dunbar being in charge of stocking the concessions to Nancy Boatner taking care of it for the winter sports.
The wrestling team rep. needs help getting enough volunteers for the concession stand when they have all-day meets. A flyer with sign-ups will be sent out by Nancy.
Ralph Dunbar motioned to adjourn it was seconded by Nancy Boatner. The motion passed. Meeting adjourned @ 7:37p.m.
