All times and dates may be adjusted if weather conditions or other circumstances mandate. Indiana schools are required to make up any complete days missed due to weather. Short delays or early dismissals might not trigger this requirement. See the Guidelines for information about advisories, media outlets, snow routes and early dismissals. Day-to-day information on the web page is advisory only. By Board policy, legal notices come through south-central Indiana media outlets from the Office of the Superintendent. Makeup days could affect grading periods and the start of summer school.

University ALPS 8:00 AM-2:10 PM The MCCSC school year is approximately 36 weeks. Elementary schools have a 9-week report card cycle, but have Parent Conferences to supplement communication. Secondary schools have a 6-week report card cycle. Classes typically last 6 six-weeks (2 semesters or a year) or 3 six-weeks (1 semester). The Bloomington High School South schedule allows for 12-, 24-, and 36-week classes. This Trimester calendar reports grades at those intervals.
