MCCSC SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS

Your school social worker has a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and is
licensed to practice by the state of Indiana as a professional in a
variety of settings besides schools. Typical settings where MSW degreed
social workers practice are in mental health agencies, psychiatric
facilities, hospitals, correctional facilities, and in private practice.
MSW standards are so high that MSW degreed social workers are included in
a very small group of recognized professions eligible for reimbursement by
national health insurance plans. MCCSC offers this service for free. Your
school social worker is trained to work with children and their families
