What We Do
Teacher Grants
Every year, we encourage MCCSC teachers to dream of creative projects for their students, and then fund them through a competitive grants program. Examples of funded grants include: artist-in-residence projects, outdoor education labs, computer software, special curriculum materials and theater performances.
Bradford Woods Camperships
For over twenty years, we have provided thousands of dollars annually in scholarships for needy fifth grade students so that they can attend this excellent outdoor education program with their class.
Scholarships
The foundation administers several memorial scholarships and through them gives thousands of dollars in scholarship money to deserving MCCSC students every year.
Vision Screening
The Foundation, in conjunction with Indiana University's Optometry School, provides funds annually for the vision screening of all MCCSC first and third grade students.
Young Author's Conference/Reading Treat
The Foundation provides $1,000 annually in support of the annual reading program which involves all students in Monroe County.
