We envision empowering teachers by expanding their knowledge base of technology and increasing their comfort level using technological tools. By these means, teachers will use technology as one of many approaches to ensure that students gain and demonstrate mastery of the Indiana Standards.

Role of the Technology Team

The role of the team is to model ways of integrating curriculum and technology and how to manage resources in the classroom to our staff. The team will also provide support to the staff through peer tutoring, and teacher led workshops . Our focus will be on collaboration and teaming.

Point Two

The Project

The Team will create a project template for a Power Point presentation that will be used by students to create their own presentations in a content area of the teacher's choosing. These presentations might include:

  • Slide Shows
  • Story extensions
  • Reports
  • Life cycle webs
  • Results of experiments using the Scientific Method
