Environmental Issues Study Grade level: 7^th grade Curricular area(s): Writers Workshop (English), social studies Goals and objectives: Goals: Using Word and PowerPoint, 7^th graders will create a collaborative, cross-curricular presentation based on a social studies topic. Objectives: Same as Standards (See below) Project instruction Introduction: In Writers Workshop, students will be introduced to Word and PowerPoint while being instructed on language mechanics. Once completed, social studies will begin instruction on research and referencing. Then, students will begin researching global and environmental issues.
