Fourth grade students in Mrs. Dill and Mrs. Dorsey's fourth grade class, at Binford Elementary are callaborating on a service-learning project beggining in March and continuing until the end of May.

Quilts Unite International Languages Together
  • Our classes need volunteers each Friday morning to facilitate student sewing circles - various times nine to eleven a.m.
  • Children learn to create nine-box quilt squares which will eventually be assembled into lap-sized quilts
  • Each quilt will be theme-based for English Language Learning, Inspiration, Celebration, etc.
  • Construct Math knowledge throughout the process
